Waco Tribune series on Homestead Heritage
My interest in this is that I knew Blair Adams and Howard Wheeler in Austin Texas when I went to The World of Pentecost there. I knew Howard pretty well, but only saw Blair distantly. I visited Howard in New Jersey and attended their church once. At that meeting I had my first encounter with someone who believed in the "covering" doctrine. This is the idea that each Christian needs to be under the guidance of another Christian. I thought it was a crazy theory then and I still do.
